
Adam Iddrisu, Esq
President
Adam Iddrisu, Esq is the President of the Official Reporters and Editors Society, Ghana (ORES – Ghana). Mr Iddrisu trained as an Official Reporter at the Government Secretarial School and was awarded a Verbatim Reporters Certificate in the year 2004. He currently works with the Parliamentary Service of Ghana where he serves as the Editor of Debates (Chamber Reporting). Mr Iddrisu has extensive experience in official reporting during his career which spans over two decades. He was the sole reporter for the: Ø Inauguration of the Sixth Parliament of Ghana (2013), Ø Address by President Barack Obama to Parliament of Ghana in 2009, Ø Inauguration of the Fifth Parliament in 2009, Ø Ghana@50 Commemorative Sitting of Parliament in 2007, Ø Inauguration of the Fourth Parliament (2005) He was also part of the Team that covered or reported the: Ø 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, November, 2023 Ø Ordinary Session of ECOWAS Parliament, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Ø Ordinary Session of Pan-African Parliament, 2013 Ø Maiden Public Hearing of the Public Accounts Committee (2007) Ø Orientation of Members of the Fourth Parliament (2005) Ø Ghana@50 Commission of Inquiry, 2009 He also produced sensitive, private and confidential verbatim reports for individuals and corporate bodies. Adam Iddrisu, holds a first-class honours in Management Studies and an MBA from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He obtained an LLB from the University of Ghana, Legon, Higher National Diploma from the Tamale Technical University (then Tamale Polytechnic), a post-graduate Certificate in Public Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Verbatim Reporters Certificate from the Government Secretarial School, and a Professional Certificate in Law from Ghana School of Law. Mr Iddrisu is a member of the Official Reporters and Editors Society of Ghana (ORES Ghana) and the Ghana Bar Association (GBA). He is, therefore, an Official Reporter and a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
